Peachland hosts Wreaths Across America

PEACHLAND – Peachland Remembers would like to thank everyone who participated in our Wreaths Across America ceremony and everyone who was in attendance at Peachland Cemetery on Saturday.

Special thanks to our veterans, families of veterans, and everyone who sponsored wreaths for us to lay on our warrior graves.

Thanks to Joseph Helms and the Combined Choir of Lawyer Springs Primitive and Peachland Baptist Churches. Thanks to solo singer and bugler Mark A. Greene. Thanks to Pastor Jerome Cash for leading us in prayer. Thank you, Casey Blackburn, for bringing the fire truck with lights to help keep traffic safe in the area. Thank you, Stan Hildreth, for shuttling our guests and choir. Thank you to North Carolina State Rep. Mark Brody for his speech and attendance. Thank you to Retired Lt. Col. John Gagan and Anson High School JROTC for presenting the arms and our colors and laying wreaths.

We are so proud of each participant and so grateful that you came to honor our veterans as a community of grateful Americans. Hearts have been touched. Impressions were made on the young people. Families came to remember. Our community is grateful to our warriors.
