Wreaths across America to add ceremonial wreath representing the United States space force

The US Space Force, which was created December 20, 2019, with the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020, is the first new military service since the Army Air Force was reorganized as the United States Air Force in 1947. The US Space Force organizes, trains and equips space forces to protect American and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force.

Since its inception as a 501c3 in 2007, WAA has provided seven live, handmade Balm Veteran Wreaths – each with a corresponding branch of service flag, including a POW / MIA flag – to each registered participating location at use in this year’s National Wreaths Across America Ceremony of the Day. In the future, eight wreaths will be provided with the US Space Force Delta Service Flag. Each participating venue is coordinated by local volunteers who are encouraged to host a ceremony using these wreaths as part of their National Wreath Day ceremony across America and invite veterans, current military personnel and their families to to participate.
